BB Barron-Gaytan is the Assistant Program Director for The Department of Multidisciplinary Engineering where she is responsible for managing program resources to fulfill the program mission to ensure that the goals and objectives of the program are accomplished. In her role, she will provide support with advising, admissions, program enrollment, course/classroom logistics, and records.
BB has over twenty-one years of experience working in Higher Education. She is a member of the University Staff Council and in 2020 received Team Award for Advising and President’s Award for Academic Advising for 2022.
BB earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication Organizational Track and a Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Texas-Pan American. She is a proud native of the Rio Grande Valley and active in the community.
